The Pushers by phren for LD #11 2008

Running:

Python 2.5 and pygame 1.8.0. If running an older version of pygame, you might have to comment out the mixer.pre_init line in main.py. main.py contains the main program.

Info:

From the beginning I interpreted (read: wanted to interpret ;)) minimalism as a one-button game. This is the result of that.

The basic premise is to control a car around the track by pushing it forward after it stops. The car follows the track automatically. Watch out though - if your speed is too high in a corner you might lose your grip and crash!

Keys:

Space - Applicable to almost everything but menu scrolling

Made with:

Python with pygame

Programs used:

gvim for the code
Microsoft Paint for the graphics
sfxr for the sound effects (very big props to DrPetter for making this!)
